Zara Larsson has completed a 20-city tour coinciding with the release of her deluxe album ‘Midnight Sun: Girls Trip’. The tour offered approximately 3,000 fans the opportunity to be among the first to hear the new music, as well as receive a full-body glitter spray tan with guided instructions from Larsson, and experience a 40-foot mechanical dolphin.
Tour stops included Penn State University for their annual student festival and a Los Angeles location featuring a redesigned Palm Beach Tan store with custom surfboards, Swedish licence plates, and Larsson’s signature pink corvette.
The tour visited cities not typically prioritized by artists for initial tour dates. Larsson has emphasized a maximalist aesthetic described as “Y2K Scandinavian Barbie.”
When a meme based on Larsson’s song “Symphony” became popular, she incorporated it into the visual concept for ‘Midnight Sun’.
