The exec will expand opportunities for songwriters in the UK and Europe
ZaZa Kazadi has been promoted to Senior Director, A&R, UK & Europe, at Sony Music Publishing (SMP).
Based in London, Kazadi will be responsible for expanding opportunities for songwriters in the UK and across Europe, focusing on hip-hop, rap, R&B and Afro.
Kazadi joined SMP in 2024 as Senior A&R Manager.
He was most recently Director of A&R, UK.
Prior he managed artists and producers including ZieZie and Sonzi at Never Dies Management, and also spent two years as A&R Manager at BMG Music Publishing.
Since joining SMP Kazadi has signed BRITs Hip Hop/Grime/Rap Act winner Dave, rising star EsDeeKid, Kidwild, Shallipopi, Fimiguerrero, as well as producers AOD (Tems, FKA Twigs) and Jo Caleb (Dave, Asake).
He also works closely with the likes of Wizkid, Producer X and Jester Beats.
