Robbie Powell Named General Manager of British Airways ARC

Robbie Powell has been appointed General Manager of the 3,800-capacity British Airways ARC in London, scheduled to open June 16.

AEG Presents UK has appointed Robbie Powell as General Manager of the British Airways ARC, a 3,800-capacity venue set to open in London on June 16. The venue is included in the £1.3 billion redevelopment of the Olympia area.

Powell brings over 15 years of experience in large-scale venue and festival management to the role.

Previously, he served as Theater Director at New Wimbledon Theatre. His career also includes senior positions at the Fortune Theatre, Pleasance Theatre Trust, and the Barbican Centre.

As General Manager, Powell will be responsible for the daily operations of the British Airways ARC, including its booking strategy.

He will report to Lucy Noble, Senior Vice President of UK Venues for AEG Presents.

Lucy Noble stated, “Robbie has the track record and the love of the live experience that makes him perfect for this role. We all welcome him as we move closer to opening and I’m proud of the team we have been building that Robbie now joins.”
