Sulinna Ong Joins U2’s Team at Full Stop Management

Sulinna Ong has departed from her position as Global Head of Editorial & Curation, Music at Spotify.

Ong is now a Management Partner for U2, joining Irving and Jeffrey Azoff at their company, Full Stop Management, in a newly established role overseeing the band’s management. Executive Changes at U2 Management, Spirit Music, and Ticketek

Prior to her time at Spotify, Ong held positions at Sony Music, Live Nation, and Deezer. At Deezer, she served as Global Vice President of Artist Marketing.

U2 is anticipated to release a new album later in 2024, their first full-length project since 2017. The band has already released two EPs this year: Days of Ash and Easter Lily.

Bono, The Edge, Adam Clayton, and Larry Mullen Jr. released a joint statement saying: “What’s struck us about Sulinna is the flair, finesse, and clarity she brings to both the art and the audience. She understands what we’ve built and where we want to take it. We’re delighted to have her as a Management Partner alongside Irving and Jeffrey.”

Irving Azoff stated: “The band made the right call. Sulinna is one of the best executives in music, with a career built on judgment, taste, and an instinct for where culture is now and where it’s going. Jeffrey and I are proud to have her alongside us.”

Ong commented: “My years at Spotify have been a significant part of my career, and I leave the team there with enormous respect for what we have built. Apple Music and TikTok Introduce “Play Full Song” Integration has changed the landscape of music consumption. U2 are one of the most important bands in the world, artistically and culturally, and have used their platform with purpose across every chapter of their career.”
