SheetCue, a practice app for iOS and Android, has broadened its score-input workflow beyond PDF. Musicians can now import lawful score photos, JPG and PNG files alongside the existing PDF support, making it easier to work from camera shots of paper pages, scans and digital images they already have.
The workflow stays the same regardless of the source format. A musician imports a file they have the right to use, reviews and corrects the detected measure boxes, then sets timing, repeats and the playing order. During rehearsal or performance, the display advances on a timer through the route they prepared, so they do not have to interrupt playing to swipe between sections.
The app is aimed at adult hobbyists, band members, teachers and students who already work from paper pages, scans, camera photos or PDFs. It does not supply or share scores, transcribe notation, listen to live playing, follow tempo, or claim perfect measure detection. The free plan is ad-supported with optional in-app purchases.
SheetCue founder and developer Kwangho Bae submitted the update as a disclosed product announcement rather than an independent recommendation, seeking unpaid editorial consideration only with no advertising, sponsorship, affiliate or positive-coverage request.
