The independent music company has expanded its reach in the UK, Canada, Europe, and Africa

Symphonic Distribution, the music services company geared towards independent labels, artists, and managers, has made four new hires in its global A&R department. They will be based in the UK, Canada, Europe, and Africa, all reporting to Symphonic’s Senior Vice President, Head of A&R, Ed Poston.

JD Parent, Manager, A&R and Client Development, Canada, was previously Manager of Artist & Label Partnerships at Spotify Canada.

Nick Robinson, A&R and Business Development Consultant, UK, signed Adele, James Blunt and Keane to BMI while he was there.

Pia Eiser, Senior A&R Manager, GSA Region, Europe, held past roles at Universal Music Group and Kobalt Music.

David Niran, Manager, A&R and Client Development, Africa, was a talent manager at Nigerian record label Jonzing World.
