Cassper Nyovest and Nasty C have returned with a new collaborative single, ‘Lil Mama,’ adding a fresh chapter to their joint discography.
The track blends melodic vocals and rap, centering on themes of love, admiration, and the drive to provide for a significant other. Both artists lean into a softer, more tuneful delivery while preserving the self-assured storytelling that defines their work.
“This record is all about good energy. We wanted to make something that feels effortless, something people can enjoy whether they’re with someone they love,” Nyovest said. “Working with Nasty C always brings out great creativity, and I think fans are going to connect with this one.”
Nasty C described the single as a natural collaboration that allowed the two to reveal a different dimension of their artistry. “‘Lil Mama’ is one of those records that came together naturally. It’s smooth, it’s uplifting and it captures a side of us that people don’t always get to hear,” he said. “Collaborating with Cass on a song like this made perfect sense and I’m excited for everyone to experience it.”
The release unites two of South African hip hop‘s most prominent voices, both of whom have built careers across the continent. ‘Lil Mama’ is now available on major digital streaming platforms.
