A2IM Names 2026-27 Board of Directors and Executive Committee

A2IM announces its 2026-27 leadership slate, including Glen Barros as Executive Committee chair and new board members.

The American Association of Independent Music (A2IM), which represents more than 600 independent labels, has unveiled its leadership roster for the 2026-27 term, appointing Glen Barros, Managing Partner of Exceleration Music, as chair of the Executive Committee.

The organization also named Louis Posen, Founder and President of Hopeless Records, as Treasurer, and David Barnes, COO of Rhymesayers Entertainment, as Secretary.

Board of Directors

The incoming board members are:

  • Katie Garcia, Owner and Founder, Bayonet Records
  • Steve Kline, President and COO, Better Noise Music
  • Elliott Peters, Chief Legal Officer, EMPIRE
  • Jason Peterson, Chairman and CEO, GoDigital Media Group
  • Victor Zaraya, Chief Operating Officer, Concord
  • Steven Hill, Head of North America and Global Marketing, Warp Records

Advisory Board

A2IM added Benson Curb, SVP of Revenue and Marketing at Curb, to its Advisory Board. Oscar Guitian, CEO of Serving Sounds, continues his tenure on the board.
