Tanzanian singer Abigail Chams has released a new single, “Yoyo,” alongside an official visualiser.
The Afropop track weaves together English, Swahili, and French lyrics, exploring romantic devotion through rhythmic production and melodic hooks. Its central refrain, built around the word “yoyo,” anchors the song’s structure.
The release follows a series of performances at major African cultural and sporting events that have broadened Chams’ audience beyond Tanzania. She continues to build her presence across East Africa and internationally.
