The platform received a monthly average of 90,000 AI-generated tracks daily in June
Paris-headquartered streaming platform Deezer has announced that during a peak in June, AI-generated tracks exceeded half of all daily new music deliveries for the first time.
During June, Deezer received a monthly average of 90,000 AI-generated tracks daily.
This represents more than 50% of total uploads of new music.
Deezer has said that in light of this milestone it will take down generative AI tracks used to create fraudulent streams.
It will also remove gen-AI tracks that haven’t been streamed for six months or more.
Deezer launched its proprietary AI detection tool in January 2025, and in June 2025 became the first (and so far only) music streaming platform to explicitly tag AI-generated music.
In 2025 it detected and tagged more than 13.4 million AI-generated tracks.
