The Australian Music Industry Network (AMIN) has launched the free Australian Music Touring Network (AMTN), a map-based directory of original live music venues. It gives artists and their teams tools to find venues and plan tours across metropolitan, regional and remote Australia.

Artists, managers, booking agents and tour managers can explore an interactive venue map or filter listings to find potential tour stops. They can save venues to a Favorites list and use the booking information in venue profiles to contact bookers.

Profiles include capacity, preferred genres, booking contacts, opening days, technical specifications and accessibility information. They also provide local details on nearby accommodation, food and transport.

AMTN’s Touring function lets users build regional and national routes and itineraries, with distances and approximate driving times between stops. Itineraries can be exported to a spreadsheet and shared with teams.

The platform also identifies community radio stations serving areas along proposed routes, giving touring artists a way to connect with local broadcasters and audiences. Australian venues that host original live music can register for the map, while artists and industry professionals can access the platform for free.
