The game franchise has been booking celebrity radio hosts for over 20 years
As the release of Grand Theft Auto (GTA) VI gets closer and closer, Rockstar, the game’s publisher, has announced the in-game radio hosts for six stations. The list includes Robyn, Bad Bunny, Lana Del Rey, Burna Boy, and more.
GTA has employed famous musicians as radio hosts since San Andreas in 2004. Hosts often voice fictional characters.
Axl Rose, Chuck D, and George Clinton had their own radio stations in the game back then.
In the years since, Iggy Pop, Daddy Yankee, Femi Kuti, Kenny Loggins, Flying Lotus, Soulwax, and dozens more popular artists have lent their voices to the franchise.
