Music Road offers an interactive map showing up to five trending YouTube songs per country, ranked by views added during a selected period. The tool provides a daily updated way to explore music by artist origin.
Users select a country to see its list, then move between markets without logging in. The site presents the tool as a music discovery resource for listeners.
Daily trends and all-time rankings
The trending lists measure newly gained views rather than lifetime totals. They show which songs are accumulating views within the chosen window.
YouTube is free to access globally without a subscription, so the underlying viewing activity is not limited to paying subscribers.
A separate section ranks the 2,500 most-viewed songs on YouTube of all time. Users can filter that ranking by:
- Country
- Language
- Genre
- Vibe
- Audio tags
- Channel
Country labels reflect artist origin
Music Road assigns songs to countries based on where the artist, or a channel’s main artist, comes from. Artists associated with multiple countries require judgment calls in that classification.
The map therefore represents artist origins rather than listeners’ locations. A song’s placement does not establish where its audience is watching.
Each country’s trending list is capped at five songs. Countries with fewer entries may have no songs displayed on a given day.
