Max Martin and Shellback Sell Catalog Stake to HarbourView Equity Partners

Max Martin and Shellback have sold a share of their publishing catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners in a deal valued in the low nine figures.
Max Martin and Shellback, the songwriting duo behind hits for Taylor Swift and Ariana Grande, have sold a portion of their catalog to HarbourView Equity Partners. Songwriters and producers Max Martin and Shellback have sold a share of their publishing catalog to investment firm HarbourView Equity Partners. The transaction, valued in the low nine figures, is part of a new partnership with Wolf Cousins, the songwriting and production collective founded by Martin and Shellback.

HarbourView now owns the publishing share of a selection of compositions from the Wolf Cousins catalog. Warner Chappell will continue to administer the catalog.

Included in the deal are songs such as:

  • Taylor Swift‘s “Style” and “…Ready For It?”
  • Ariana Grande‘s “Problem,” “Into You,” and “No Tears Left To Cry”
  • Imagine Dragons‘ “Believer”
