The ROSTR Group, an independent live music trade and technology company, has launched ROSTR Venues, a free global directory of more than 33,000 live music venues across North America, Europe, and Latin America.

The searchable, map-based directory is built into the ROSTR ecosystem and is designed for agents, managers, and independent artists routing tours. It is optimized for mobile web, with an iOS app planned and additional markets to be added.

Venue coverage and search tools

The database includes:

  • North America: 13,000+ venues
  • Europe: 10,000+ venues
  • Latin America: 9,000+ venues

Users can zoom in on an interactive map, drop a pin on a city, set a radius, and filter results by location, capacity bands, and venue type. Each venue has a dedicated profile. Artificial intelligence (AI) is used to help power the database.

Contact data and partnerships

For ROSTR Pro users, venue profiles unlock key contacts, including names, roles, emails, and phone numbers for associated talent buyers and promoters. ROSTR Pro accounts start at $50 per month, with discounts for annual subscriptions.

Upcoming show listings are supplied by Bandsintown. ROSTR also partnered with the National Independent Venue Association (NIVA) to improve data quality and add a “Live Independent” filter that surfaces NIVA members. Opendate, a live venue management systems provider, and Legends Global, a venue management and entertainment experiences company, verified their clients’ data before launch.

Mark Williamson, Co-Founder and CEO of ROSTR, said: “Before ROSTR, the only way to find an artist’s team was an out-of-date book, a PDF or a website that felt like it was built in 1999.”

Venue owners and operators can claim and update their profiles at no cost to help keep venue specifications and contact information accurate.
