South African vocal duo SAI HLE, formed by sisters Siphosethu and Amahle Koom, have signed with music company Platoon as they work to reach listeners beyond South Africa.

The sisters began singing together in church. They later performed the track “Koyika” with producer Sun-El Musician at the Red Bull Symphonic concert, backed by a full orchestra.

The signing with Platoon supports their goal of building an international audience. The duo continues to produce music that draws on their personal background.
