Spotify Launches Retrospective Listening Experience

Spotify has introduced a new mobile experience offering users a look back at their individual listening habits. The feature, called Spotify 20: Your Party of the Year(s), presents data related to a user’s history with the platform.

The experience includes previously unreleased data about listening patterns and provides an All-Time Top Songs Playlist consisting of the user’s 120 most played tracks, displaying play counts for each song.

Users can share summaries of their data through shareable cards.

The feature is available in 144 markets and 16 languages on mobile devices. Users can access it by searching for “Spotify 20” or “Party of the Year(s)” within the Spotify app, or by visiting a specific web address on a mobile browser.

In addition to the personalized experience, Spotify has curated a series of global playlists highlighting significant musical eras and cultural trends from the last twenty years. These playlists are accessible within the Spotify hub. As the music industry is constantly evolving, Spotify continues to innovate with new features. Spotify recently announced that they pays a record $11 billion+ to the music industry in 2025.
