Warner Chappell Music Partners With France’s Kidding Aside

Warner Chappell Music has entered a global partnership with Paris-based electronic music company Kidding Aside, alongside the appointment of Nicolas Klersy to lead its new publishing division.

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) has signed a global partnership with Kidding Aside, a Paris-based independent electronic music company.

The agreement coincides with the appointment of Nicolas Klersy as Partner of Kidding Aside Publishing, the company’s newly created publishing division. Klersy will serve as strategic lead for Publishing A&R.

The alliance connects Kidding Aside to WCM’s international network, with the stated aim of expanding creative opportunities for songwriters and producers and supporting the global export of French electronic music culture.

Kidding Aside operations

Founded in 2015 by Matthieu Jay, Kidding Aside operates across artist management, music publishing, recorded music, live events, and All Night Long, its joint-venture label with Believe.
