Street-pop artist Zlatan Ibile will return to his alma mater, MAPOLY (Moshood Abiola Polytechnic), on July 1, 2026 for a free concert and the unveiling of a new on-campus music studio. The event, tagged ‘Homecoming,’ aims to celebrate his roots while providing students with professional creative resources.

The surprise announcement drew a large crowd of students, staff, and fans to the institution where Zlatan once studied.

During the concert, the award-winning artist is expected to perform his biggest hits and may be joined by guest performers.

Beyond the performance, Zlatan revealed plans for a fully equipped recording studio on campus. The facility will offer aspiring musicians, producers, and content creators access to professional equipment, removing financial barriers that often limit young creatives.
