SoundCloud and Twitch have partnered to launch SoundCloud Sessions, a recurring livestream series designed to connect DJs with new audiences through live performance and digital discovery.
DJs from around the world will perform on Twitch as part of the platform’s DJ Program, enabling fans to discover creators and scenes in real time and interact directly with artists. After each stream, SoundCloud will amplify the performances through its editorial, social and marketing channels to help sustain audience engagement.
Top participants may be considered for additional promotional opportunities and future cross-platform activations.
Electronic music is one of the fastest-growing genres on SoundCloud, according to the company’s latest Music Intelligence Report, which recorded a 39% year-on-year increase in #DJset uploads.
“By coupling Twitch’s live digital stage with SoundCloud’s native discovery ecosystem, SoundCloud Sessions brings the energy of a live performance straight to the screen, equipping emerging DJs to scale their presence far beyond the physical room,” said Eliah Seton, CEO of SoundCloud. “We’re transforming raw, live moments into digital discovery, and building on the timeless foundation of DJ culture, which has always been about discovery, community, and what’s next.”
