The production team for the 32nd South African Music Awards (SAMA32) includes women in several leading roles, spanning project management, communications, digital delivery and guest logistics.
Audrey Lummis is heading the SAMA32 project, bringing experience in live events, brand activations and large-scale project management. Beverly Moubane serves as producer, with a background in series production, live broadcasts and multi-genre television formats.
Unati Gwija is the awards’ spokesperson, responsible for communications strategy. Her professional experience covers film markets, branding, inflight entertainment and strategic communications, and her role includes engagement with artists, media and industry stakeholders.
Asanda Jaca, the SAMA project coordinator, manages operational and administrative processes. Portia Kgabale handles talent administration and supports planning, communication and event coordination, assisted by Maria Radebe, Nompumelelo Gamede, Puseletso Radebe and Dimakatso Monareng.
Digital streaming strategy and execution are overseen by Daniela von Plato, while Taki Makananisi manages guest relations and logistics, including arrangements for VIPs, nominees, presenters and other stakeholders.
Event and partners
The awards, sponsored by the Motsepe Foundation, are scheduled to bring together artists, industry professionals and audiences. The event is positioned as part of the North West province’s efforts to attract visitors and promote its cultural and tourism offerings, with expected activity for local businesses and the hospitality sector.
