Kewand, the South African hip-hop artist, writer and composer, has released a new single titled Tell A Vision featuring rapper and producer Zoocci Coke Dope.
The track fuses alternative rap with rock-influenced production and trap elements, exploring themes of ambition, creative resurgence and the pursuit of long-held aspirations. Its title plays on the word “television,” reflecting the song’s central idea of turning a personal vision into reality. Kewand and Zoocci Coke Dope deliver their verses over a dark, cinematic backdrop shaped by heavy rock textures, trap drums and atmospheric sounds. Writer and composer Biglesforreal also contributed to the recording.
The song originated during a studio session that was streamed live on Instagram. The broadcast drew an immediate response from listeners, who subsequently called for the track to be released. That early audience engagement became part of the song’s development, linking its themes of ambition and self-belief with the artists’ return to the music scene.
Kewand is known for incorporating alternative influences into hip-hop, combining lyric-driven songwriting with distinctive production and visual concepts. Tell A Vision continues his exploration of ambition, pressure, legacy and the challenge of establishing a new creative chapter.
Additional contributors include Qhawe Shoba, Bakang Mokgautsi, Shaked Khuzwayo, Mpumelelol Xaba, Mbongeni Yaka and Nkululeko Njapa.
