Skrillex and MPH have released a new collaborative single, ‘Mirage’, via DisOrder/Capitol Records. The single is available on Apple Music.
The track was first played by MPH during his EDC (Electric Daisy Carnival) Las Vegas set in May. Unofficial bootlegs soon appeared online, with fans calling the track ‘Bunga’ before MPH confirmed the title last month by sharing a clip from the set captioned ‘Mirage’.
In a press statement, MPH said the single was put together in one afternoon. ‘Skrillex would do some bits and pass the laptop to me. I’d do some bits and, pretty soon, we’d married our sounds together,’ he shared.
Recent Skrillex activity
Skrillex recently performed two sets at Dekmantel festival and surprise released his fifth album, ‘SOMA’, in June. The LP features contributions from Chris Lake, Naisha, ANITA B QUEEN, Young Miko, ISOxo, Blawan, Randomer and MC Dricka.
Earlier this year, he joined forces with Ahadadream and Raf-Saperra for the single ‘Bass Dhol’, and in January he released the solo three-tracker ‘Kora’.
