London-based DJ and producer Demi Requísimo has released an official remix of Groove Armada’s 2001 club hit ‘Superstylin’.
The rework arrived on 14 August, following months of rotation in Requísimo’s sets at venues and festivals including Pikes Ibiza, Gaffe, and Poland’s Garbicz Festival.
“Such an iconic, timeless record. I’m super honoured to have been asked to put my own spin on it. If you’ve seen me play recently, chances are you’ve probably heard it already,” Requísimo shared on Instagram.
Originally released in August 2001, ‘Superstylin’’ featuring MC M.A.D. served as the lead single from Groove Armada’s third studio album, Goodbye Country (Hello Nightclub).
The remix is available to stream now. Previous reworks of the UK club staple have been delivered by Mochakk, Logic1000, Ewan McVicar, Dance System, and others.
Requísimo’s recent output includes the ‘Soft Landing’ EP with Clint, released earlier this summer. Groove Armada signed a long-term deal with Defected and Glitterbox Recordings in 2024 and issued the ‘Free Jam’ EP the same year. The duo has a busy summer touring schedule ahead.
