Warner Music Group (WMG) has announced a series of senior leadership changes across its executive team, Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) operations, and its independent services division, ADA.
The moves include the exit of Simon Robson, who will step down as President, EMEA, Recorded Music, WMG, after almost 30 years with the company.
New executive and regional appointments
- Val Blavatnik joins as Managing Director, Warner Music North America, UK, & Corporate Development. He has served on WMG’s board since 2023.
- Guillermo Gonzalez becomes President, Warner Music EMEA.
- Andrés Rothschild fills Gonzalez’s previous role as President of Warner Music Iberia.
- Alejandro Duque has been promoted to President, Warner Music International.
- Elliot Grainge expands to Chairman of ADA while remaining Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Atlantic Music Group (AMG).
- Zach Friedman becomes Vice Chairman of ADA while continuing as Chief Operating Officer of AMG.
- Aaron Bay-Shuck will serve as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Warner Record Group. His Co-Chair, Tom Corson, shifts to Chief Operating Officer of Warner Music Group.
