Chappell Roan raised $2 million for her nonprofit, the Midwest Princess Project, through two concerts at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The October 21 and 22 shows, titled The Super Graphic Spectacular, marked the project’s first anniversary, with all net proceeds going to the nonprofit.

From tour shows to a nonprofit

Roan has made local drag performers part of her concerts and encouraged fans to dress for each show’s theme. At a Springfield, Missouri, stop on her 2023 Naked in North America tour, fans arrived in gowns, sashes and crowns for a homecoming queen theme. Roan called it her favorite show of the tour.

In 2024, she donated nearly $28,000 from her shows to Springfield’s GLO Center. The following summer, she pledged $1 from every ticket sold for a short run of shows in New York, Kansas City and at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena to local organizations serving LGBTQIA+ communities, particularly trans youth.

The pledge generated more than $400,000 across the three locations. On October 23, 2025, Roan announced the Midwest Princess Project and named its first six funding recipients, two in each location, including the GLO Center.

Ongoing support for local groups

Aside from donation-page fees and a small amount for the team managing the project, its funds go to partner organizations. Those groups receive recurring support rather than a single payment. The project has raised more than $800,000 and supported over 60 organizations across the country and beyond.

The GLO Center planned to use its funding to establish queer youth groups in towns around Springfield, including West Plains, Branson and Joplin.
