Amazon Music Raises Subscription Prices in the US and UK

Amazon has officially increased subscription prices for its premium streaming service, Amazon Music Unlimited, affecting customers in both the United States and the United Kingdom.

The move reflects the broader trend of rising subscription costs across the music streaming industry as platforms continue investing in content, technology, and exclusive features.

Updated Pricing in the United States

In the US, individual subscriptions for Amazon Music Unlimited have increased to $12.99 per month. Prime members receive a slightly discounted rate, now paying $11.99 per month. The Family Plan has also seen an increase, rising from $19.99 to $21.99 per month.

For existing US customers, the updated pricing will take effect on or after March 5, 2026, depending on their billing cycle.

What This Means for Subscribers

As competition in the streaming space intensifies, pricing changes like this highlight the ongoing evolution of digital music economics in 2026.
