Motion Agency has introduced a pan-European commercial radio plugging service, complementing its existing press and digital operations. The expansion is led by Nick Bray, who joins the firm as Head of Radio.

Bray will guide the company’s move from specialist radio into Top 40 and mainstream formats across all major European markets. He previously held senior promotion roles at several major labels.

  • Director of Promotions at RCA Label Group
  • Head of National Radio at Polydor
  • Director of UK Regional Radio at Sony Music
  • European and International Director of Promotions at Red Bull Records

His campaign credits include work with Beyoncé, Usher, Alicia Keys, P!nk, and The Script.

Motion’s first radio campaign under Bray is for Jorja Smith‘s new album, led by the single “What’s Done Is Done.”

Over the past decade, Motion has built a pan-European press and radio specialist operation, working with artists such as The Black Crowes, Ronnie Wood, Moby, Pat Metheny, Gorillaz, and Chick Corea. Its client roster includes:

  • The Orchard
  • BMG
  • Universal Music Group
  • Exceleration Music
  • Candid Records
  • Mack Avenue
  • Primary Wave
  • Kill Rock Stars
  • Empire
  • Atlantic Records

Paolo d’Alessandro, Co-Founder and CEO of Motion Agency, said: “Record companies and label services organizations have trusted us with some of their most important artists on press, and we wanted to build a radio operation worthy of the same trust. Nick brings experience that very few people in Europe can match, and with him joining us we can genuinely offer something the market hasn’t seen before: a fully integrated press and commercial radio service at a cost that works for independent labels as well as majors.”
