South African vocalist and songwriter Amukelani will launch her forthcoming EP, KUHLULA, at Trackside Studios in Soweto on 1 August 2026.

Organised in partnership with Gaza Nation Hub 3.0, the event starts at 2pm and combines live music with fashion, dance, storytelling and community activities.

Born and raised in Giyani, Limpopo, Amukelani has performed at Constitution Hill, the Market Theatre, Sawubona Music Jam, the Soweto Arts & Culture Festival and Giyani Arts Week. Her sound fuses Afro-soul, contemporary R&B and modern African influences, with songwriting that explores healing, love and self-discovery. She has collaborated with Just Bheki and Sir Trill on the track ‘Wash’a’.

The EP is framed as a career milestone, reflecting themes of growth, resilience and creative freedom.

“This is more than an EP launch,” the Trackside Studios team said. “It’s an opportunity to celebrate an artist whose work continues to inspire connection, healing and joy. We’re inviting audiences to experience the world of KUHLULA in a way that is intimate, vibrant and unforgettable.”

Tickets are priced at R150 for pre-sale general admission, R200 at the door, and R450 for a merchandise bundle that includes limited-edition Amukelani Namenda items. Tickets are available through Computicket.
