Eliza Rose has released a new single, ‘Kite,’ produced by Sega Bodega. The track is her first original material since the arrival of her FABRICLIVE. Presents mix in May.

Built around a pulsing low-end and Rose’s silky vocal delivery, ‘Kite’ carries a distinct bashment edge. The production draws on the energy of Carnival, dimly lit basements and warehouse dance floors.

Rose described the single as “an unruly riddim conjured up from the hazy memories of my early rave days. Young, free and wayward, finding our feet in the dance.” She added, “Working with Sega Bodega was incredible. He really pushed me to experiment, and I felt a real musical connection with him. We made 5 tracks across a period of a few days and it was amazing to create a body of work, with such an incredible producer who isn’t afraid to push boundaries of the electronic music spectrum and work so collaboratively.”

In May, Rose unveiled her FABRICLIVE. Presents mix, which featured selections from Introspekt, Amaliah and Zed Bias alongside her single ‘Morning Light’. That same month, she shared a new version of ‘Pingers’ featuring CASISDEAD.
