Wilkes pointed to the international potential of French artists and credited Bensmaine’s team with identifying talent early and supporting sustained careers.

Bensmaine said he and his team were joining AEG Presents to develop Auguri’s French business and give its artists broader access to the group’s international network.

“We share the same ambition: to identify, develop, and support artists over the long term.”

Arnaud Meersseman, president of AEG Presents France, said Auguri’s experience in artist development and career building would complement the group’s existing activities.

He said the acquisition would expand its capacity to identify and develop local talent while creating opportunities for artists in France and internationally.

AEG Presents is expanding across the UK, Norway, France, Germany and Benelux. Its partnerships combine local market knowledge and industry relationships with its international reach to support artists and audiences.
