Billboard Latin Music Week 2026 drew thousands of attendees from around the world to Miami for artist conversations, business panels, networking and live performances. The event began Monday, October 19, and culminated in the 2026 Billboard Latin Music Awards on Thursday, October 22.

Discussions examined how to build business partnerships, maintain individual creativity while working in teams and assess the potential effect of artificial intelligence (AI) generated music on artists. A Superstar Q&A explored the popularity of regional Cuban and Mexican music and its cultural influence.

Mexican footballer Memo Ochoa spoke with Jesús Ortiz Paz of the American regional Mexican band Fuerza Regida about success, life and the group’s early years. Another panel featured artists Ana Mena, Aria Vega, Greeicy and LALI, with discussion of perseverance in their careers.

Attendees met industry professionals at roundtables in the attendee lounge, while emerging artists introduced themselves and promoted releases. Puerto Rican musician Cristalle discussed her first Spanish release, Miel: “It’s a bachata song, and I want to see you dancing to it.” She also described the event as a place to learn and connect with others.

A2IM and Open on Sunday Music Financing hosted an event for labels and lawyers at the Bass Museum of Art. Performances took place at venues including the Envivo stage and Furia rooftop, where capacity crowds meant late arrivals could miss entry.

The Latin Music Awards took place live at Miami’s James L. Knight Center, with performances spanning Latin pop, tropical music and música mexicana.
