Recent music marketing developments include a 24/7 Green Day YouTube channel, an Ariana Grande album sold as seed packets, and TikTok Shop‘s projection to exceed $100 billion in gross merchandise value by 2026.
Green Day has launched an official 24/7 YouTube stream called Green Day TV, providing what the band describes as “around-the-clock immersive programming.” The channel features a continuous stream of the band’s music videos, live performances, and archival behind-the-scenes footage. The stream will also include surprise drops, giveaways, trivia, and a weekly variety show hosted by drummer Tré Cool that spotlights emerging artists.
Ariana Grande‘s new album Petal is now available as a UK-exclusive English daisy seed packet edition. Each packet includes a Serenade smart sticker with NFC (near-field communication) technology that provides chart-eligible digital access to the album.
TikTok Shop is on track to surpass $100 billion in gross merchandise value (GMV) in 2026, according to analytics platform Tabcut.
