Encore Recordings is focusing on international artists, particularly talent from Africa. The Los Angeles label, launched by music executive Joie Manda in November 2021, points to a streaming milestone for Nigerian artist Victony as an example of that focus.
Victony’s track “SLICK” has surpassed 130 million streams.
