Live Nation Entertainment reported its highest-ever quarterly attendance in Q2 2026, as global demand for live events lifted results across its concerts, ticketing, and sponsorship divisions. The company hosted 49 million fans, a 10% year-on-year increase that added approximately five million attendees.
Total revenue reached $7.7 billion, up 9% from the prior-year period. Operating income rose 7% to $522 million, while adjusted operating income (AOI) increased 2% to $817 million.
Concerts revenue grew 8% to $6.4 billion, fueled by international markets. Stadium, arena, and festival attendance all posted strong gains overseas, and U.S. amphitheater and arena attendance also expanded.
Ticketmaster revenue climbed 15%, with AOI up 14%. Fee-bearing ticket volume increased 8% to 90 million, driven primarily by concert ticket sales. Sponsorship revenue rose 12%, and its AOI grew 13%, supported by the international expansion of Live Nation’s venue and festival portfolio. International markets accounted for 70% of Ticketmaster’s AOI growth and 80% of Sponsorship AOI growth during the quarter.
“In a world of endless screens and AI-generated everything, the one thing that can’t be copied is being there,” said President and CEO Michael Rapino. “More artists are on the road than ever – and fans keep choosing to be in the room with them, driving the strongest concert ticket sales we’ve ever seen. More than 143 million tickets have sold through mid-July, over 14 million ahead of last year’s pace, with mid-teens ticket sales growth across all large venue types: stadiums, arenas, and amphitheaters. None of this happens without the artists – they make these moments, and we’re grateful to every artist and crew who trusts us with their tours.”
