Ghanaian-American artist MOLIY has released her debut mixtape, BADDIES MOLIY, via gamma. The 12-track project, pronounced BADDIES LOVE MOLIY, explores themes of empowerment, confidence and self-expression, fusing Afrobeats, dancehall, electronic music and futuristic production with club culture and global “baddie” aesthetics.

“I didn’t want to stay in one lane with this mixtape,” MOLIY said. “Every song pulls from a different energy, sound, and part of my personality, but it all connects through confidence, freedom, and movement. It’s like a party with no rules, just in time for a baddie summer.”
The release was preceded by the single 911 (CALL THE LAW), a concept track where MOLIY adopts a Y2K-inspired American Valley accent to narrate a story about pursuing an ex.
The mixtape shifts across styles: the electronic, sultry TOMETO, the upbeat synth-pop of POPSTAR, and the African-influenced BUKSHOT featuring Br3nya. On ACCRA GIRLS, MOLIY teams up with Sarkodie and Mellissa, with Sarkodie delivering much of his verse in Twi.

The latter track became a major international hit, reaching No. 1 on Billboard’s Afrobeats Songs chart in 2025 and surpassing one billion streams. It was also named a 2025 Song of the Summer by Spotify and TikTok.
BADDIES MOLIY arrives after MOLIY’s 20-city North American tour with Skillibeng. She is now preparing for a headline tour of the UK and Europe.
