A new nonprofit organization, the Music Safety Alliance (MSA), has formally launched as a 501(c)(3) entity, extending the work of the No Creeps! advocacy movement to drive cultural change toward safer, more inclusive environments across the music business.

The alliance aims to address structural gaps that leave many music professionals without the protections, support systems, and workplace standards found in other sectors. It plans to offer practical tools and collaborative solutions to help individuals navigate real-world situations.

Three-Pillar Approach

The MSA organizes its work around three core areas:

  • Resources: Developing educational materials, best-practice guides, and tools to support safer studios, writing sessions, workplaces, and events.
  • Advocacy: Partnering with industry leaders to promote cultural change, strengthen accountability, and raise standards for safety and inclusion.
  • Community: Creating connection opportunities through No Creeps! events, workshops, and networking programs.

Leadership Team

The executive team includes longtime music industry professionals with backgrounds in advocacy, community building, marketing, and creative production. Gillian Driscoll serves as Director of Marketing & Partnerships, Hazel Kleingrove as Director of Programs & Community, and Georgia Hutton as Director of Creative & Production.

“Everyone deserves to create and build their careers in environments where they feel safe, respected, and supported. For too long, those expectations have been treated as optional rather than fundamental. The Music Safety Alliance exists to help change that, by bringing together practical resources, education, advocacy, and community to help build a stronger, more accountable music industry for everyone.”
