RECORDS has announced the promotions of Andrew Saltman and Sara Gil to expanded leadership roles within the label.

Andrew Saltman and Sara Gil have been promoted to new positions at RECORDS, the label founded by Barry Weiss in collaboration with Sony Music Entertainment.

Saltman has transitioned from Vice President of Marketing and Digital Strategies to Senior Vice President, Artist Development. He will lead a unified department encompassing marketing and digital teams for both RECORDS and RECORDS Nashville.

Gil’s new role is General Manager, overseeing operations for both labels in New York and Nashville. She will be responsible for negotiating artist contracts, managing budgets, and developing release strategies in collaboration with Saltman.

Weiss, previously a leader at Universal Music India and first.wav Announce Global Distribution Agreement’s East Coast labels and a veteran of Jive Records, established RECORDS in 2015 with SONGS Music Publishing. The label’s current roster features artists including Slayyyter, Noah Cyrus, Nelly, 24kGoldn, and Lennon Stella.

RECORDS Nashville launched in 2020 and represents artists such as George Birge, Emily Ann Roberts, and Ty Myers.
