Manchester-based DJ and producer salute has announced a new mixtape, ‘Infinite Passion’, and shared its lead single, ‘check check’.

The mixtape is salute’s first full-length project since his 2024 debut album, ‘TRUE MAGIC’. Its title is drawn from a series of club events he hosted, which used a hidden booth and enforced a strict no-phones policy.

A press release describes the mixtape as “an extension of the nights themselves; a project shaped by the DJs, producers, friends and communities orbiting Salute’s world.” The events featured DJs including HAAi, Call Super, AceMo, Effy and Bambounou.

The tracklist combines deeper cuts with dancefloor-tested material. A wider run of remixes and additional tracks is expected later this year, though no official release date has been confirmed.

Lead track ‘check check’ is available now. Salute said:

“‘check check’ is a track I’ve been playing out since last summer. It was an attempt at making a stripped-back club tool that anyone would be able to play, and a departure from my more dense, harmony-heavy material. I’m stoked to be releasing it as part of a series of club tunes I’ll be dropping for the rest of the year.”
