Warner Music Austria and ADA (Alternative Distribution Alliance) Central Europe have signed a distribution and studio partnership with Tonherd, a Vienna-based independent label, publisher and creative hub.

Under the agreement, Warner Music Austria and ADA Central Europe will handle global distribution and provide strategic support for Tonherd’s roster in Austria and abroad. In return, Warner Music Austria’s entire local artist roster will have direct access to Tonherd’s recording studios.

The first release under the partnership is from pop artist Michael Russ, with additional releases planned later this year.

Tonherd operates as a full-service music company, offering songwriting, production and release. Its team includes:

  • Constantin Kaiser
  • Florian Koch
  • Valentin Bröderbauer

Franz Pleterski, General Manager of Warner Music Austria, said:

“With this partnership, we aim to support artists as partners from the very early stages of their development and demonstrate our commitment to local Austrian music, while simultaneously creating a new, forward-looking, and market-aligned model of cooperation between the indie and major label sectors. I am very much looking forward to this collaboration and to the talent that will be discovered through it in the coming years.”
