New Gospel Single Released
Award-winning Zimbabwean gospel musician Everton Mlalazi has released a new worship song titled ‘Tiri vana vaMambo’. The track centers on themes of faith, identity, and spiritual belonging.
The song’s title translates to “We Are Children of the King” and explores the concept of spiritual inheritance, encouraging listeners to find confidence and hope in their faith during difficult times.
The single incorporates contemporary gospel arrangements alongside influences from African worship traditions. Its lyrics emphasize resilience, assurance, and a sense of community for those who worship.
Mlalazi stated the song was created to remind people of their spiritual identity. “I chose this hymn because we all need to be reminded of who we are in God,” he said. “No matter where we are or what we may be facing, we are children of the Almighty King. That truth gives us hope, strength and purpose. To see leaders and influencers across South Africa embrace this message and share it with their communities has been a great blessing. This is not just a song, it is a prayer, a comfort, and a hymn for every heart.”
The release follows a period of increased recognition for the artist, with his recent music being played and shared in churches, faith-based events, and on radio stations throughout Southern Africa.
‘Tiri vana vaMambo’ differs from some of Mlalazi’s earlier work, which explored themes of restoration and reflection, by taking a more direct approach to affirming faith and spiritual power.
The song is intended for both individual worship and group settings, aiming to foster unity among believers through a shared expression of faith.
Mlalazi is a well-known gospel musician in Zimbabwe and has gained a regional following through music that focuses on worship, hope, and spiritual encouragement.
