Position Music has signed Bachyard Ghost to a worldwide label deal through a joint venture with The Cut Records. The agreement comes as the rapper and producer prepares his debut full-length album after generating more than 10 million streams independently.
Position Music founder and chief executive officer Tyler Bacon announced the signing. The deal was arranged through the company’s head of label creative, Garrett Ream, Alex Ziabko of its artists and repertoire (A&R) team, and The Cut Records founder Tommy Kelly.

The Los Angeles-born Korean-American artist has been writing and recording material for his next project following Position Music’s interest.
His 2026 releases include:
- “TAP IN” featuring Qrystal

- “ARIRANG” with FVBII
Singles “PREESH!” and “FAITHFUL” begin the rollout for his forthcoming album.
The label team’s response
Ream described first encountering Bachyard Ghost on his For You page (FYP) and working with the artist and his manager, Oscar:
“From the first time Bachyard Ghost came across my FYP, it was clear he was building something special. His vocal tone and flow are unmistakably his own, and the strength of the music from our early sessions confirmed our belief that he has the potential to become an important artist in the scene. We’re excited to welcome him to Position Music and work alongside his manager, Oscar, to bring their vision to a much larger audience.”
Kelly also discussed his creative work with Bachyard Ghost and Oscar:
“When I first heard Bachyard Ghost’s music I immediately connected with what he was doing. His delivery is undeniable, and very few artists are building a sound this powerful and captivating. Working on the creative side with him and his manager Oscar has only deepened my conviction in what they’re creating. I’m honored to join Position Music in helping build his next project.”
Bachyard Ghost on choosing Position Music
Bachyard Ghost said he had received previous label offers but waited for a deal that aligned with his vision:
“We’ve been working and growing for a long time and although we had gotten label offers in the past, something told us to wait for something more aligned with our vision. After the first meeting with Position, I felt an energy from their team that made me believe that these people truly respected the art and could help elevate it to the next level. Super excited for this next chapter.”
