Grammy-winning rapper Megan Thee Stallion has announced a distribution partnership with Interscope Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group (UMG). She will continue to release music independently through her label Hot Girl Productions.
Under the agreement, Interscope will distribute her music. Megan Thee Stallion retains ownership of her masters and publishing rights, and the deal includes a collaboration with Roc Nation.
Deal terms
Megan Thee Stallion will own all of her masters and publishing rights. The arrangement follows a previous distribution deal with Warner Music Group, in which she also remained independent while receiving major label distribution support.
