Benjamin Ingrosso has signed an exclusive global publishing agreement with Warner Chappell Music Nordics, giving the Swedish artist international support for his songwriting.

The agreement coincides with his double single, “Funny Feeling” and “Waste My Time”. The release is his first new music in nearly two years, following his Swedish Number One album, Pink Velvet Theatre.

Warner Chappell Music (WCM) is the music publishing arm of Warner Music Group. Ingrosso works as a singer, songwriter and producer.

Publishing team outlines plans

Ingrosso said songwriting remains central to his work and that Warner Chappell shares his vision. He has spent the past year working with an international group of writers and producers.

“I’m stoked about what’s to come!” he said.

Eddie Matthew, Warner Chappell Music’s Vice President of International A&R (artists and repertoire) and Head of Creative Nordics, said the publisher would support Ingrosso’s next phase.

Lars Karlsson, Managing Director of Warner Chappell Music Nordics, said the team would back Ingrosso as he takes his music into new international markets.

Chart success and Swedish awards

Ingrosso’s career includes more than one billion global streams, three chart-topping albums, numerous gold and platinum certifications, and multiple sold-out tours.

He gained prominence after winning Melodifestivalen, Sweden’s national Eurovision selection competition, in 2018. He subsequently hosted three seasons of Benjamins and starred in the docuseries This Is Benjamin.

Following Pink Velvet Theatre, his wins during Sweden’s 2025 music awards season included:

  • P3 Guld Awards: Artist, Album, Song and Live Act of the Year, taking all four top categories.
  • Swedish Grammis Awards: Artist, Album and Song of the Year.

New singles and Nordic arena dates

The new songs were written and recorded in Sweden, the United States and the United Kingdom. They were completed during two weeks at Benny Andersson’s Riksmixningsverket studio in Stockholm.

  • “Funny Feeling”, the A-side, combines soul-pop and mellow disco with percussive piano and alternative-pop influences.
  • “Waste My Time”, the B-side, pairs new wave with pop-rock melodies. Ingrosso co-wrote it with longtime collaborator Jon Shave, a WCM UK songwriter.

Ingrosso is scheduled to begin What Happens Next?, an 11-date Nordic arena tour, later this month. The itinerary includes two nights at Stockholm’s Avicii Arena.
