YouTube Music has surpassed 150 million subscribers, including trials, as monthly subscriber growth slows. Parent company Alphabet disclosed the figure during its third-quarter 2026 earnings call on Wednesday, October 28.
The total stood at 125 million in March 2025. Monthly growth has slowed from 2 million subscribers to about 1.3 million.
Alphabet did not say how many subscribers pay specifically for YouTube Music or for YouTube Premium, which includes YouTube Music, ad-free access to the main YouTube platform and other features.
“Subscriptions continue to grow faster than ads led by YouTube Music Premium,” said Philipp Schindler, Google’s chief business officer. He also cited Premium and Premium Lite as options for viewers.
