Canadian R&B vocalist Tamia has scheduled a second performance in Cape Town after tickets for her originally announced show sold out, organisers confirmed.

The newly added concert will take place on 5 August 2026 at the Grand Arena, GrandWest, one day before her previously booked appearance at the same venue on 6 August. The tour will also visit KwaZulu-Natal on 7 August and Gauteng on 10 August, forming part of a Women’s Month concert series.

Tamia expressed gratitude to her South African fans for their continued support and said she looked forward to performing for audiences across the country.

The tour is promoted by Remoakantse Holdings and is designed to celebrate women through music and live entertainment during Women’s Month.

Discovered by producer Quincy Jones in the 1990s, Tamia has built a career spanning more than three decades. She has earned multiple Grammy nominations, released several platinum-certified projects, and collaborated with artists such as Eric Benét, Fabolous and Babyface. Her catalogue includes R&B hits like “Officially Missing You,” “So Into You,” “Stranger in My House” and “Into You.”

Tickets and further event details are available through the official platforms of Grand Arena at GrandWest and SunBet Arena.
