Nigerian artist Rybeena has announced the forthcoming release of Mr Bee Deluxe, a deluxe edition of his(her) 2025 project, and simultaneously renewed his long-term recording partnership with Dapper Music & Entertainment. The new deal was signed on June 15, 2026, at the company’s Lagos headquarters.

The original Mr Bee was ranked the 9th best project of 2025 and drew acclaim for its blend of contemporary sounds and collaborations with Joeboy, Shoday, and Fuji music veteran King Dr. Saheed Osupa.

Renewed Partnership

At the signing ceremony, Damilola “Dapper” Akinwunmi, Group CEO of Dapper Group, stated: “Rybeena has done in two years what takes most artists far longer, and this new deal is us putting real weight behind where he is headed. We are not in the business of managing names; we are in the business of building careers. With everything lined up to drop this year, the proof is about to speak for itself.”

Rybeena added: “People talk about what a label is when things get loud. For me it’s simple: Dapper backed me, built with me, and I’m staying to finish what we started. This year is proof. The ‘Mr Bee’ deluxe is just the opening.”

Market Position

Dapper Group currently accounts for approximately 8 percent of Nigeria’s music market by streams, generating over one billion streams annually across its portfolio. Its operations span label services through Dapper Music & Entertainment and distribution via Dvpper Digital.
