Tuned Global, a B2B music cloud platform, has signed a deal to supply the licensed music layer for SongPicks, a new music prediction market game from FanLabel.

FanLabel, which previously operated a fantasy sports-style game, launched SongPicks as a paid-entry, skill-based contest app. Users compete for cash prizes by ranking songs, predicting their performance, and climbing leaderboards.

Tuned Global’s licensing and metadata infrastructure will allow the platform to offer predictions and benchmark user choices against real-world streaming and chart data.

“This is a great example of how music technology can power a new category of interactive fan experience,” said Con Raso, founder of Tuned Global.

Interest in music prediction markets is growing. On the prediction platform Kalshi, more than $1.5 million is currently wagered on the question “Who will have a #1 song on Spotify USA in June?”
