A new platform called GigLogic has launched to help independent artists and managers assess the true profitability of live performance offers before they commit. Built by touring musicians, the tool replaces guesswork with data-driven cost and revenue projections.

Co-founder Craig A. Meyer said, “We learned the hard way that the paycheck isn’t the profit. We’ve accepted opportunities that looked great on paper but turned out to be far less profitable once the real costs were accounted for. We built GigLogic to help artists understand the numbers before they commit, so they can make informed decisions before they say yes.”

Users enter details of a potential gig, build customised cost profiles, and evaluate projected earnings to uncover hidden expenses before confirming a booking. The platform is available for free at an entry level, with paid plans starting at $19.99 per month. It is initially aimed at indie performers, artist managers, and small management firms.
