Kenyan DJ and digital creator Ali Ayub is leveraging his music career to drive autism awareness and push for broader inclusion of neurodiverse individuals within the country’s creative economy.

Ayub, who earned the Mr. Autism Kenya 2023 title, merges deejaying, music production, and content creation to counter stereotypes about autism. His advocacy centers on showing that autistic people can build successful careers, live independently, and make meaningful contributions to the arts, he has stated.

Through DJ sets, digital media, and public engagements, he works to foster understanding of neurodiversity and to spotlight autistic creatives, encouraging young people to pursue paths in the arts. Receiving the Mr. Autism Kenya title strengthened his resolve to champion equal opportunities, and he has since participated in campaigns that highlight the capabilities and achievements of neurodiverse people.

Alongside advocacy, Ayub continues to advance as a DJ and producer, blending music with fashion and digital content. He now aims to scale both his musical output and awareness initiatives, targeting audiences across Africa and internationally through performances, collaborations, and campaigns.
